She’s a little nervous. She has a full week ahead. On Monday, she returns for chemotherapy. Then, Tuesday she goes in for a new MRI scan. Wednesday, it’s a full evaluation from her neurooncologist. All in all, she’ll be spending a lot of time at Children’s Hospital.

Ambling round the house,
in an untucked cosy shirt,
he shuffles to a vagabond hymn
inspired by symphonies unheard.
He seeks reflection from the lower cast,
like a cat with nothing else to do.
Hard to deny him due affection.
He purrs with intellect and caste.
I have long been a fan of the “In Character” section of Vanity Fair. It dawned on me the other day that it might be a good exercise to combine my writing and photographic skills.
